For early arrivals, we are having a BBQ at 6pm, at our residence. Please see the venues page for a Google map showing the way. It is a brief walk from the main hotel.
In the evening afterward, those who wish to go out to a nearby club will be organized to do so. Those flying in later in the evening (especially those on JetBlue Flight 411) should plan to join us during the evening. We will go out somewhere near the hotel, in order to make that easier.
During the day, we hope you will catch up with one another and spend time with our families.

12:00pm – Brunches with wedding party and family.
3:30pm – Rehearsal of the ceremony.
Location: Aquarium (see Venues page). All those contributing a role in the wedding ceremony should attend. This will be a quick walk-through (less than one hour), and the aquarium will be open for business at that time so we will work around the visitors.
5:30pm – Rehearsal Dinner: Cocktail Hour.
Location: NEW LOCATION! Marine Room Restaurant, a truly extraordinary restaurant with an absolutely one-of-a-kind view of the ocea. Situated literally on the beach, with bay windows looking out at the tide, we will have a front-row seat for a 6.4 high tide that will peak at 9:15pm just after we leave.
So look for the water to come within a few yards of your table by the end of dinner. Fine dining and impeccable service. We hope that this dinner is the first of many experiences that will lead to our goal: that greater than 50% of our friends decide to move to San Diego! ... With so many of you flying to the wedding, we warmly include all out-of-town guests in the Rehearsal dinner. Formal attire - see attire page. If you cannot make it this early on Friday, we have a later Reception, at our favorite beach.
6:00pm – Rehearsal Dinner: Sit-down Dinner.
We will eat overlooking the waxing high tide. The first course is Tiger prawns, the main is Filet Mignon, and these are followed by a Trilogy of deserts. Please see the menus page, and please let us know if you prefer the vegetarian option (if you haven't already).
6:20pm – Toasts and Roasts.
Beloved family and friends will aim to make us laugh, and cry! There will be more toasts on Saturday.
7:45pm – Walk to the beach, for the Bonfire.
8:00pm – Beach Bonfire.
Come celebrate and let a little loose under the spring night sky with a bonfire, torches, and a steel drum band! Be sure to change into something comfy on the beach - shouldn't be a problem as the main hotel is a few hundred feet away! The party will go late, so latecomers feel free to drop by when you arrive.
